HIGHLIGHTS
These are Ken’s chosen highlights.
Ken Candelas, aka "The Mad Composer" documents his trip with a montage that unveils the brand new world-class recording studio, "AlUla Studios" located in Saudi Arabia. The mission was to test drive the 64-channel Neve 5088 console of the facility and 'cut the ribbon'. As its engineer, Ken captured the music heard in this immersive experience.
“The Circle of Dead Children” is a story originally inspired by the concept of ‘as above, so below’, an alchemical philosophy that fostered the merging of two concepts: an infernal pilgrimage through the Inferno to unlock the secrets of divine power hidden within the fabled philosopher’s stone. "Godless; A Song of the Night, Part II" takes on after “A Song of the Night: Part I”, the Homerik prologue that explores the relationships of Morgana, the mother of Dante. Ken is the creator—The Mad Composer—of Homerik.
Another Homerik release, calling upon the distressed voice of former president Franklin D. Roosevelt, "Sacred Order" is best described as a monument to our sins. Forcing us to reflect on our past, Homerik has created a mirror for us to face the truth about the unspeakable horrors of World War II. This is the beginning of the story of Dante, the protagonist of Homerik's epic opera "The Circle of Dead Children".
Ken Candelas was the drum technician and assistant engineer for the record “Old Ghosts” created and produced by the metal band Hero & The Horror.
Andy made a deal with a demon. He manages a small but ambitious Italian eatery called Scoppa. The demon’s black magic lures patrons to the restaurant; in return, Andy feeds guests to the demon, who dwells in the basement. It was all going smoothly, business was booming, reviews were glowing…
Until the busboy found out. Hayride Films presents The Restaurant. Ken Candelas is the sound designer, sound mixer, foley artist, and dialogue editor of this feature film.
